Pile

Pile means everyday. It can be used to mean all the time. In this piece, I am referring to “pile ametho”. This means I drink everyday. Our habits become so habitual that they are now in our schedule. We have to stop by the bar. We have to order a drink. Our friends start to require our habits to be the same, and before you know it, we do it everyday with or without them. We find our cowboy deep into countless drinks not because we lost count, but because that number doesn’t inform our thirst.
